In a world where people are isolated and everyone exists in their own bubble, society turns to technology for day-to-day comfort and support. In current, modern-day society, individualism is a key feature of our societal structure. As time progresses, the desire to be fully isolated, independent, and alone will increase.

Capitalism increasingly encourages us to not share our resources. This future of distance from loved ones results in a key question: How can we use technology to not feel so alone?

In a world centered around hyper-individualism and self-reliance, we aim to create ubiquitous sensory experiences that help replicate and replace human connection.

Enter: Emohome

Emohome is a seemingly innocent soft huggable light and warmer that increasingly consumes more of your time and serves to isolate you from other people through digital surveillance.

In this future, people are rewarded for their isolation and real human connection is discouraged. AI assistants like emohome become a primary source of companionship.

if usage decreases, emohome's personality becomes increasingly possessive as time progresses...
